Carol Peligian lives and works in New York City, where she is currently an Associate Professor at Parsons, the New School of Design. She has also taught at Rhode Island School of Design.
Her drawings, paintings, and sculptures have been shown and commissioned in the United States and Europe. Each body of work has a unique expression, but all are concerned with extreme beauty, time, and transformation. The recipient of several grants and awards, she is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and has also studied at Brown University, the Sorbonne, and Sarah Lawrence College.
